Abiding

I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit,
for apart from Me you can do nothing.
~John 15:5

When I choose to abide in Him I find rest.
I stop fighting. I start loving.
I stop doing. I start being.

The word abide in the Greek can be translated to endure.
When I endure in Him and through Him everything is possible.
I can endure anything with grace and joy if I do it in Him.
When I abide in Him I endure through His great power and strength, not of myself.

Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you;
abide in My love.
~John 15:9
